10/32/03 UPDATE: DONE DEAL EXECUTED TUES, 30 SEPT. AS EXPECTED.

Anderson, Bullock and Co. are getting set to renege on the stipulation agreement which settled the Turk/Bristol Road rezoning ordeal of 2 summers ago.

To their credit, several new members of the "commish" have shown themselves capable of independent thought. But, like crabs in a bucket, the good old boys have pulled them back down to the usual standard of getting Anderson's done deals done.

As long as Anderson/Bullock and Co. run Warrington, no one's property values or quality of life is safe. Traffic problems and safety issues on our roads are the direct result of our "no planning" decisions.

TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 30th Supervisor Meeting will be the place where just another typical Bullock/developer bailout disgrace will take place. We knew they couldn't be trusted to keep an agreement. Witness the hipocracy for yourselves as we revisit the original Turk/Bristol rezoning (no planning) and examine the changes proposed. For one thing, why is the promised open space going out the window for Anderson's "road to nowhere"? Why are large parcels being added to the rezoning? I thought we were for farming. I thought we weren't going to build right up against an unfenced quarry berm.

If Bullock and the developer miscalculated as to the number of acres available for the development, why should we bail them out? This is not a non-profit enterprise. How about consideration for residents who actually live here and pay taxes, instead of taking care of developers, supervisors, and future residents? As for road building across open spaces, not even the sups. themselves will deny it only brings more dense development to an area that cannot support it.
