As one drives through Warrington Township, you can't help but notice the political signs. If you look closely at the Paul / Fein for Supervisor signs, you will notice the phrase, "Reelect Paul and Fein". Well, this is just a little misleading. Lee Fein was appointed to the position of Supervisor. Nice try Lee!

Lee Fein wrote a letter to the editor (Intelligencer) in which he attempted to rebut Carol Butterworth's editorial which appear a few days earlier (see Editorials, Fein and Paul - The Ultimate Hypocrites). Lee wrote, "I would like to comment on her complaint that the open space map sent to Warrington citizens was not approved by the board of supervisors and is incorrect. She failed to mention what is wrong..." One sentence later. "This map is unofficial and is approximately 98 percent accurate." Ok Lee, so Carol was right in her assessment?

John Paul wrote a letter to the editor (Intelligencer) attempting to rebut an editorial written by former Township Supervisor Jim Molenari, critical of Paul and Fein's campaign literature (see Supervisor Speak, Consider the Tax Not Mentioned). John Paul takes the credit for reducing property taxes by 25% since 1991. Let me summarize John Paul's editorial response: "Yes Jim, you are correct. If you have an income and if your income has increased since 1991, your taxes have increased too. I didn't mean to imply that everyone in Warrington Township saw a 25% reduction. In fact, for most of the working citizens of Warrington, your taxes have probably gone through the roof."

As a life long Republican and former Warrington Township Supervisor (1990-1995), I'm voting for Plotnick and Lamond.
